Today’s unlikely video game film – “Rampage”.

You can officially now turn anything into a movie...

In a world where a studio is trying to make an “Asteroids” movie, I suppose it was only a matter before New Line Cinema picked up the rights to Midway’s monster-based-smash-stuff-up arcade classic, “Rampage”.

Reserving judgement in a really Zen and totally chilled way, I suppose that you can see the potential for this tale of humans becoming monsters who go on a … you’re clearly way ahead of me on this one.

Count the games you loved as a kid in this film. Yep, all of 'em...

Will it be as good as Patrick Jean’s glorious short film/love-letter to 8-bit gaming, “Pixels”, though?  That’s one tough act to follow…
